Elly Alija is a registered psychologist who gained her general registration in December 2022. She has completed her Master of Psychology (Clinical) Program at ISN Psychology and is currently completing the clinical registrar program to receive her clinical endorsement. Elly is an experienced early career psychologist who works part time across the public and private mental health sector. She has previously worked with children of all ages and parents, adults, and older adults experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, adjustment and trauma-related concerns, grief and bereavement, emotion regulation, learning difficulties, ASD, and ADHD. Elly has worked in a range of settings including private practice, hospitals, primary education, counselling, and support services for older adults face-to-face and via telehealth. Her approach is collaborative and culturally sensitive, drawing from the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness and play therapy to guide her therapeutic practice. Elly aims to provide a trusting and supportive space to work alongside her clients to explore and address their challenges, acknowledge strengths, values and create meaningful changes in their lives.

Elly works with clients 13 years and older at Mind Health Care on Mondays (telehealth), Wednesdays and Friday.
