Monica grew up in regional Victoria and brings a warm, down-to-earth approach to her work with clients. She values creating a space where people feel comfortable being themselves and sharing their experiences without judgement. Monica believes that each person is the expert in their own life, and her role is to meet clients where they are and support them in creating meaningful and lasting change.

Her therapeutic style is collaborative and person-centred. Monica brings warmth and authenticity to her work, alongside a relaxed and approachable style that helps clients feel at ease. She combines compassion and psychoeducation with strengths-based strategies to help clients better understand themselves and develop tools to navigate life’s challenges. She believes that even during difficult times, it is possible to find clarity, resilience, and moments of light.

Monica takes an integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from a range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She also incorporates strategies from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Metacognitive Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This flexible approach allows Monica to tailor sessions to each client’s individual needs, goals, and personal style of learning and change.
