Andrew is a registered psychologist who is currently completing the clinical psychology registrar program. Andrew has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, in psychological assessment and therapy. Andrew works collaboratively with his clients to build a strong therapeutic relationship, focusing on understanding each client’s specific goals and assisting them to develop skills and strategies to improve and maintain their mental health. He has previously assisted clients to build resilience, reduce distress and anxiety, manage phobias, increase self-esteem, and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, to support clients in improving their mental wellbeing. Andrew is passionate about improving mental health literacy.

Andrew primarily utilises a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) approach with clients to assist them to achieve their goals, tailoring evidence-based treatment to each client.

Andrew provides support to individuals aged 16 and over who may be presenting with a range of psychological difficulties including:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Phobias
  • Adjustment difficulties
  • Emotion regulation difficulties
  • Self-esteem difficulties

Andrew works at Mind Health Care on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and sees clients privately and via Medicare, NDIS and TAC.
